Cameron and Bethany Meyferth met while attending Luther College together in Decorah, Iowa. While
there, they competed on the school’s ballroom/swing dance team. Bethany had grown up dancing since
the age of three in many styles including tap, jazz, liturgical, and hip-hop. When she was 12 years old,
she saw the movie Shall We Dance and fell in love with ballroom dancing. She was so excited when she
found out her college had a team and was quick to audition and join during her first year! Cameron grew
up playing soccer and tennis, and started dancing while in musicals in high school. In college, Bethany
convinced him to audition and join the ballroom dance team in his sophomore year. Ever since then,
they’ve enjoyed dancing together for fun, in competition, and teaching lessons to others!
